Dale tutors me in video editing!

Category: Uncategorized — admin @ 5:19 pm

Thanks to Dale Stewart! He’s been coaching me on video editing.
One of the things I’ve been trying to do with this Underground Garden
Project is to document some of the stuff that goes on around here.
For me, that includes the history and the current work being done in
the arts/music scene here in the Fresno area.
I’ve shot a lot of raw footage, but was having a hard time uploading it,
and then editiing it.
Dale set me on the right path. I’m still a newbie…but it looks like I might finally
dive into the part of the Underground Garden Project that had been lying fallow:
short movies for YouTube etc.

  2. You Mr. Lecram, of course, also deserve credit for the hellp you’ve gven me computer
    and internet wise!

Dale and I started with the ol’ send a wire from the camera to the computer trick…which after a while, and a few complications worked, but I was resigned to either getting a new and better camera (which I can’t afford right now) or going over to Dale’s everytime I needed to load more ‘raw video’ to edit from.
After he downloaded a couple of programs for me….I got home and discovered I could load directly from the finalized mini-dvd’s in my disc drive. No way!…..so, that’s a big breakthrough for me.
